Rod Diaz

Rod was born into a musical family; his father played classical and folk guitar and performed at SB Bowl in the 70's. He grew up around musicians and music filled his home. Rod first learned piano as a child and gave his first concert at age 12. He went to college to study philosophy and really enjoyed the live music scene and began to learn guitar, primarily playing rock and blues. He played guitar for many years with several bands in town and dabbled in percussion and keyboards. He picked up the bass guitar more than a decade ago and has found a passion for bringing his own groove to the music he plays.
